Route information
The swim portion is a 1.5k through the calm waters of Lake Mission Viejo with full lifeguard support and comfortable wave sizes. Participants will keep the buoys on their right at all times. Wetsuits are legal.
The bike portion is a 40k course up and down Santiago Canyon Rd. Starting at the lake, it proceeds north until Blue Diamond Haul, before turning and returning to the start.
The run portion is 10k on the trails and surface streets near Lake Mission Viejo with aid stations about every mile. It starts with around a 2.5 mile run south down El Toro, turning left and then left again following Pebble Creek Park, turning right onto Marguerite, and making a U-turn and heading to the finish.

The Triathlon, Aquabike and Relay will start in waves with the first wave at 7am, the Duathlon will start at 7:30am, and the 5k will start at 8am

No, participants will need to provide their own bike.
