The City of Independence and the Monmouth-Independence Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to present the inaugural edition of the Oregon Hop Run! There will be a 10k, 5k, and a free kids 1/2 mile dash. The running and walking will start and end at Riverview Park, located in beautiful Downtown Independence.

Route information
All events will start from the Independence Amphitheater- dubbed as the living room for the city and draws 1,000s of visitors throughout the year during popular annual events. The route will take you on a multi-use path, away from cars, surrounded by views of the Willamette River. For those going after the 10k, you'll run two 5k loops. After your first 5k loop, you'll get to ring the celebrated hop bell. Surrounded by spectators at the halfway mark, you’ll get a lively boost to tackle the last 5k of the race. For those gunning for a PR, this is your course folks.
