Route information
This course is the concept of the legendary Ann Trason and leads runners to Overlook Park in Auburn.
The 50k begins in the quaint town of Foresthill as runners enter a downward section on the Cal loop and cross a river at Poverty Bar. Runners will then continue on Quarry Road and traverse across No Hands Bridge before then finishing in Auburn at the American River Canyon Overlook Park (Auburn Dam Overlook).
The 25k starts at Drivers Flat and includes a large downhill section towards the Tevis Cup Trail. Runners will then travel across the middle fork of the American River before also crossing the river at Poverty Bar. Runners will then merge onto the 50k track.
Both routes contain historical mining roads and trails that hug the riverside. All runners will also pass the ruins of Mountain quarries, making for a panoramic experience for participants. If that wasn't enough, all routes will have a river crossing.

Starting Locations
The 50k starts at the old Foresthill Elementary School at 24750 Main Street, Foresthill, CA.
The 25k starts at Drivers Flat at the top of Drivers Flat Road on the dirt parking area. The start line is 1/4 mile south of the intersection of Forest Hill Road in Foresthill, CA.
Packet Pickup
Participants in the 50k can pick up race packs at the Foresthill start area from 6:15-7:20 on the day of the event. Participants in the 25k can pick up their race packs at Drivers Flat between 8:15-8:20am. There is no early pickup for participants.
