Route information
The Triathlon swim starts approx. a third of a mile down from the swim finish. Participants will enter the water and swim in an arc, keeping the buoys to their right as they swim, before exiting the water and making their way to the transition area.
The bike course starts at reef point, going up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. Participants do 2 laps of the bike course, finishing once again at reef point.
The run course starts at reef point also, running along side the highway, turning at the restrooms and making its way back to the transition area along the beach. There will be 2 water stations on the course. Be careful near the start and approaching the finish as there is an athlete crossover point.
The Duathlon starts with a 1/2 mile run out and back along the beach, and then follows the same bike and run routes as the triathlon.
