Such a fun race! So glad to be able to use the church for pre n post race activities. The raffle at the end was definitely a plus!!! Would definitely recommend it for a winter race!!!

Great course, first time running. Could have used a water station or 2 along the course, but overall I really enjoyed it

the race was great! i liked how they had an official clock at the end of mile 1 and 2. it would have been nice if there were better bathroom accommodations before the race. many people including myself had to wait in line before the race causing stress and less stretching time. i also wish that more pictures were uploaded. i know my picture was taken right before finishing but there are only a few individual pictures from the race. i'd prefer a picture of me racing over posing with the penguin guy. all in all it was fun and i'd probably repeat next year.

Great race on a chilly Saturday morning in February to benefit a local food pantry. Well-organized, good swag, accurate course with a moderately challenging first half-mile. The sponsoring church opened its doors to allow runners to stay warm, use toilets and enjoy hot chocolate and bagels post-race. Well done.

Pretty course and nice swag including coffee mug and tshirt. It was cold but you can warm up and use bathrooms in side the church. Hill in the first mile and then flat around the lake. Pretty views, mile clocks, medals for age group placement. Hot chocolate after the race. Friendly atmosphere and pictures with Mr Penquin! Easy parking. Food donation benefit food pantry. Overall great little race in the middle of winter, i would do it again!

Great local race supporting the food pantry. Very organized and well run. Wish it was a little warmer but cant have it all. 3rd place AG was a nice take away too!

Was a well organized race on a great course!

Great race, glad they extended to a true 5K. The early portion was a hill climb, which was a fun challenge and separated the field right off the bat. The rest of the run was flat and rolling around a beautiful lake. Extremely well marked throughout, well organized. Great post race ceremonies with hot coco served. Great race giveaways, the shirt was a great color and nice material, the mug was top notch! Can't wait to run again next year.
