The 3 Bridges on the Half Marathon course include: the Memorial Causeway, Sand Key Bridge and Belleair Bridge. There is a 4-hour course limit.

Did the race in 2018
I understand that closing roads is very expensive but for most of the course there was only a small section of road coned off from traffic ... maybe the width of a bike lane. It made it difficult to run alongside someone else or to pass others. The cars didnt seem to care either as they drove very close to the cones. That is my only complaint though... there were plenty water stations (which was much needed given the heat and humidity), the volunteers were great, the timing and organization was streamlined. As someone who participates in many races one suggestion is that Id rather have a cheaper entry fee and not get a medal or a shirt as I usually end up giving the shirt to charity and the medal to a collection for kids.

Great race and the atmosphere was awesome! The support on the course was perfect! Only reason I gave the the course 4 stars was the long segments where you were forced on to slanted surfaces. My only other comment is that I would personally rather see the payouts to locals from FL or Bay Area only to avoid the pros flying....there is entry of talent in FL so maybe pay structure similar to gasparilla?

2nd year of the race and 2nd time I enjoyed it! Challenging bridges and warmth, but well-worth it. Beautiful course, well-supported, with great after-party. Looking forward to next year!
