Kick off your Labor Day weekend with an unforgettable race through the heart of Philadelphia! The Philadelphia Labor Day 10K & 5K starts in front of the iconic Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Monday September 1st, offering a scenic and fast course through historic streets and along the picturesque Schuylkill River.

To celebrate the launch of RunThrough USA, we’re excited to bring our innovative and inclusive event initiative to the heart of Philadelphia this Labor Day and the 5K will be completely FREE to enter!

With a proven track record of hosting accessible and free events in the UK, RunThrough is committed to inspiring and empowering as many people as possible to experience the incredible physical, mental, and social health benefits of running. By removing the barriers to entry, we’re making it easier than ever for anyone to join the movement and be part of a nationwide push toward a healthier, more active America.

The Philadelphia Labor Day 5K will be free to enter via a lottery, ensuring equal access to this exciting event. The 10K will still be available through traditional entry methods.

Event day logistics

Start Time

8:15am: 10k

7:00am: 5k

BAGGAGE

We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There are public restrooms on site for use, as well we will have portable units on site.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided along each of the courses, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race amenities and medal.

SPECTATORS

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event where you will be able to catch the start & finish.

RESULTS

Results will be available after the race.

We will have an official photographer at the event.
