This is a 14+ Mile trail run around Rampart Reservoir with the trees starting to show their fall colors. The scenery alone in this race will blow you away. By design, this race is small and is a best-kept secret, as there is not enough parking or other infrastructure to make this a large race.

The Pony Express Trail Run is a gorgeous course around Rampart Reservoir. Participants will keep the lake to their right as they run along the edge of the water.
There will be 3 water stations on this course. You are advised to carry your own hydration.

Get full directionsBy Car
Exit US-24 onto Baldwin St, follow, and then turn right onto Loy Creek Rd. Then follow and turn right onto Rampart Rd, and continue on to Rainbow Gulch.

This is a small event. so there will be very limited parking at the venue.

- Water Station 3 (10.05 Miles): 2 hours and 15 minutes
