Route information
The route takes place on the Possum Kingdom Lake Hike and Bike Trail System. There is a mix of terrains, including single and double track path with rocks and roots. The race starts at above 1,000ft elevation, and there will be some challenging climbs along the way reaching almost 1300ft.
The 69M, 52M and 56K runs are qualifying races for UTMB.
There are individual loops for the 4M and 8M courses. The 17M race has a 17.35 mile loop, which all other races will complete in laps:
- 56K: 2 laps
- 52M: 3 laps
- 69M: 4 laps

- 8 mile loop: Start, 2.43 miles, 6.22 miles, Finish
- 17 mile loop: Start, 4.25 miles, 6.42 miles, 10.46 miles, 14.92 miles, Finish

Spectators are encouraged to get down and cheer on their family and friends at this gruelling event. Come keep morale high.
FAQs
Can I have a pacer?
If you are running the 52M or 69M race, you are allowed a pacer from the beginning of the 3rd Lap (mile 34.8). Pacers must have gone to the start area at Bug Beach and signed a waiver.
Where can I leave my baggage?
There will be a drop bag area at the 3 manned aid stations.
Can I change my distance?
If you need to change the distance you have registered for please reach out directly to Trail Racing Over Texas before the event. Once you have started your event, there is not changing of race events. You must finish the distance you signed up for if you would like a medal for that distance.
Will there be refreshments and feed stations?
Yes, there will be gatorade, water, and base performance as well as various gels, fruits, nutrition bars, PB&Js, Pringles and many other varieties.
