Brrr..wrap up warm this January! Runners will enter a sprawling and hilly trail run that will immerse them in nature. Participants will then move into a street section before taking in lakes and lush parkland. There are also fun goodies including a pint glass waiting for runners at the finish.

Route information
This hilly half marathon course begins on concrete alongside Coal Creek as runners head up northward towards Dutch Creek Park, tackling steep hills before entering Heritage Park. Runners will then run up parallel to the Scenic Overlook on a trail area.
After this, there is a fast downhill concrete section after runners loop around Harper Lake, participants will then return to Heritage Park, running across park pathways. There are scenic views in Dutch Creek Park including various creeks en route to the finish.
The 10k course snakes up to the edge of Heritage park before returning back through Dutch Creek Park.
The 5k course is hilly and takes runners through Dutch Creek park before they enter the tarmac on Cherry Street West before heading back along the trail route towards Dillon Road West.

There is limited parking at the Coral Creek Golf Course, once these areas are full, the surrounding residential streets can be used. Access the parking area by following Dillon Road W or turning off on the Denver Boulder Turnpike (Highway 36).
Event day logistics
Saturday
11am-2pm Packet Pickup at Westminster Road Runner Sports, Westminster. It is also possible to pick up race packets on the event day at am. Friends can pick up race packets on behalf of runners by providing the name of the proxy runner.
Sunday
7:00 - 8:00am Same day registration and late packet pick up (in Expo at Coal Creek Golf Course)

Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their race packs on the day of the event at 7:00am.
Toilets
There are toilets located at the Expo and miles 4.5 and 8.5 on the course.
Water stations
There is one water station on the 10k Course. The half marathon has 7 water stations and aid stations at miles 1.5, 3.5, 5.5, 6.6, 8.5, 9.5, and 11.5.
Raceday Raffle
There will be a charity raffle with Community Food Share on race-morning, please consider donating the following critical needs items: (Microwave food, shampoo, diapers, soap, shampoo, hygiene products). Runners who bring 5 of these donations will be entered into an exclusive race day raffle.
Awards Ceremony
The top 3 Men and Women overall will be recognized alongside the top 3 Men and Women in the following categories: 10k and Half Marathon: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ 5k: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
Swag
All racers will receive a short-sleeved tech shirt and a finishers pint glass. Those who compete in the Half Marathon will receive a finishers medal.
Dogs
Dogs can compete in the event provided that they are kept on a leash at all times.
After Party
There will be an after-party with details TBC.
