Did the race in 2019
Probably the best looking trail in the world. Not a walk in the park though, it's steep on the way out and the way home. Keep an eye out for the hard right turn when you get to the top of the trail - not obvious where to turn. Beautiful scenery, small and friendly event.

This was such a great race, the Dipsea Trail is one of the most beautiful trails I've ever been on. You run up the steep hill straight after the start line, with tall redwood trees and waterfalls. It's a bit like Jumanji, there are fallen trees everywhere you have to duck under and roots over the path, and even a ladder to climb up at one point. This race is awesome. The view from the top is incredible it's so worth the climb. Not many runners but lots of nice people, some running and some walking. All in all a great day, I couldn't recommend this highly enough. The start line is right near beautiful Stinson Beach so you can go for a dip after the race. Suggest a post-run burger at the Siren Canteen on the beach afterwards!
