New for 2025, the Ragnar Trail North Texas is happening on May 2-3, 2025.
Grab a team of friends and set out to conquer three stunning trail loops at TADRA Point Trailhead. This beautiful venue is nestled in the LBJ National Grasslands, roughly 45 minutes away from Dallas/Fort Worth.
Take in a breath of fresh air as you run through shaded forests, over rolling hills surrounded by endless natural beauty. Don't forget to look out for Black Creek Lake.
When you're not battling the course, relax as a team under the stars, hearing campfire stories and fuelling up on s'mores. Feel the buzz around Ragnar Village as you meet some incredible people and have tons of fun. Come a day early for even more camping, campfires and great memories.
Green Loop - Distance: 3.1 miles. Elevation Gain: 209.59 feet
Yellow Loop - Distance: 6.6 miles. Elevation Gain: 459.67 feet
Red Loop - Distance: 6.9 miles. Elevation Gain: 563.11 feet
Black Loop - Distance: 17.5 miles. Elevation Gain: 1554.68 feet

TADRA Point Trailhead is a 45 minute drive from Dallas/Fort Worth. From the Interstate 35W, take the 287 to Decatur. Then the 730 North towards the venue.

Age Restrictions
Runners must be 12 or older to participate. Any participant under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver.
Any team with one or more participant(s) under the age of 18 must also have at least 1 adult (25 or older) with them at the race. The adult can camp with the team at no cost and can pace minor runners.
Pace
Your team must have an average of at least an 11-minute per mile pace to finish the course in the specified timeline.
Mandatory Kit
Every runner should have a good headlamp. It is recommended to have one with 70 lumens or more.
Start Times
Start times will be assigned to all teams with at least 3/4 of runners with 10k road paces saved to their profile.
Cupless Event
Single-use containers are not provided at any water stations on course or for hot chocolate / coffee in the Village area. Bring your reusable hot and cold containers to use throughout the event.
