RBC GranFondo Silicon Valley routes

Grand Fondo: 71.5 miles (115KM) with 7080 feet of elevation gain

Starting and finishing at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley Hotel base in East Palo Alto, this glorious ride will take cyclists to the peaks of Skyline Ridge Preserve at 2,400 feet before opening up to the pacific ocean at Pescadero. Once riders have made it to Pescadero they can stop for a relaxing brunch break at Terun Italico Restaurant and Wine Bar before continuing on their merry way.

Medio: 47 miles (75KM) with 4,260 feet of elevation gain

Similarly starting and finishing at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley in East Palo Alto, but this route focuses less on the leg side of business and more on enjoying the entire route. Importantly the Medio cuts out about 1,700 foot climb above the town of Woodside. Fear not, this route also includes a gorgeous pit (wine) stop at the famous Thomas Fogarty Winery. Here cyclists can load up on delicious food and wine for lunch before hitting the saddle once again and returning home with Gran Fondo riders.

Please note that the Medio route is e-bike friendly, so those wishing to bring their electric friends are more than welcome.
