Here's what races are available for Redding Marathon
Take on the Redding Marathon to see if you can qualify for Boston. There will be plenty of fantastic scenery to embrace. The course starts on the Shasta Dam, you will be able to take in some fantastic scenery from here.
Then you will follow the paved Sacramento river rail trail. At miles 10-18 you ascend up to the town of Old Shasta before you descend to the paved trail along the river. Then you will finally cross the historic Diestlhorst Bridge before one last push to the finish line on the Sundial Bridge.
The relay will run alongside the Marathon race but there will be2 transition places for participants to hand over to their teammates:
- 1-2: Keswick Boat Ramp off of Iron Mountain Road at mile 9.7
- 2-3: Diestlehorst Bridge at mile 20
- 26.2: The finish line

How to get there

- When you sign up for the race you can book bus transportation that will take you to the start of the race from Sundial bridge.
- For the relay, buses will be available to leg 2 and 3 hand-off points.
Parking will be available at the leg 3 hand-off, but it is closely monitored and discouraged.

Pre-race day packet pick-up will be held at Fleet Feet Sports, 1376 Hilltop Drive, Redding.
There will be no bib pick-up at the start line on the day, entrants may pick up their race bib on the day of the race from the Sundial Bridge (the finish line) from 6:00am to 6:45am.
Drop bags will be collected at the race start and delivered to the finish line and to Keswick Boat Ramp fir 1st leg relay runners.
What do I get with my entry to the Redding Marathon?
All entrants will receive a medal and a finisher's long sleeve shirt.
How much does it cost to book the shuttle bus to the Redding Marathon?
You can book the shuttle bus from the finish line to the start line for $15.
Is there a bag drop at the Redding Marathon?
