Take on the Redtail Ridge race at the Lake Chabot Regional Park, with lots of races to choose from there will be something for everyone. This is a trail race with some paved sections and it is designed for those looking for a PR and those who are less competitive or new to trail running.

The course is on moderately technical dirt trails and non-technical fire roads. The hill can be long and challenging.
The courses are marked with surveyor ribbon and placed approximately every 200 meters along the course. There will be some laminated signs and flour arrows on the ground at critical or complicated sections.
The most important ribbon is the blue ribbon - this indicates that you are going the wrong way.

Parking is included in the entry fee for all participants who arrive prior to the lots being full. There is additional free parking along the road just outside of the park. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
Event day logistics
7:30am - 9:05am Race packet pick-up and Check-in
8:30am 50k and 30k start
8:45am Half Marathon starts
9:00am 10k starts
9:15am 5k starts
5:00pm Cut-off time
There will be a broad selection of sweet and salty snacks, as well as fruit and a diverse lineup of pre-packaged food options. There will also be some girl items on offer which may include: Quesadillas, Chicken-apple turkey sausage, chicken noodle soup, and a vegan soup option.
This event is cupless, meaning the aid station will not have paper cups available for runners to use. Each runner will carry their own water bottle or reusable cup.
There will be age group awards determined by chip time as well as top three overall winners (male and female) of each race distance who will receive a custom trophy with the race logo.
The Dead Last Finisher (DLF) will receive an award
There will be age group medals for the following categories:
- 13 and under
- 70 and over

Can I run with my dog at the Redtail Ridge 5k, 10k, Half, 30k, & 50k?
Dogs are allowed at Lake Chabot and Anthony Chabot Regional Parks. Pups must be on leash at all times. You may run the race with your dog, but must start at the back of the pack and allow all other runners to proceed before starting. Please keep your dogs health (and paws) in mind when choosing to run with them.
What do I need to bring with me to the Redtail Ridge 5k, 10k, Half, 30k, & 50k races?
All entrants must bring a foldable cup or water bottle as this is a cup-less event.
