Route information
This ultra trail race takes place along the fantastic historic Old Ridge Route Road. This point-to-point race will have you experience the majestic beauty of canyons, lakes, and much more. This will be a rewarding experience for all that take part.
The 50 miler and 40k start at Tejon Ranch. The 40k is all dirt roads and the majority of the 50k is on forest lands in the mountains. This 100-year old road was closed due to landslides so it will be completely traffic-free.
Along this famous motorway, experience the panoramic vistas and enjoy racing at its finest. All races will have your legs burning with over 8,000' of elevation across the 50 miles, 5,300' for the 40k. If you are looking for less climbing sign up to the 50k as there will be a 2,800' climb with a nice descent of 4,000'.

There will be a shuttle bus from the Castaic Lake finish to the Grapevine 50-Mile start. There will also be a shuttle bus available for the Ridge to Route Ranch 50k startline from Castaic Lake Finish.
