One of the most scenic races in the world. Winding over the Colorado National Monument from Grand Junction to Fruita, Colorado, the U.S. Bank Rim Rock Run boasts scenery unlike any other marathon. The peaceful course features views of towering monoliths, vast plateaus and canyon panoramas. Sheer-walled, red rock canyons surround the twists and turns off the course.In addition to a marathon and marathon relay, the Rim Rock Run also features a half marathon, starting at Saddlehorn going up to Monument Canyon View, and back down into the heart of Fruita, where racers can join in the post-run celebrations.
