Route information
Distance: 5k, 10k, Trail Run (8 miles), Kids Race
Terrain: Road, Pavement, Trail
The 5k route takes participants streaming out over an out and back course, they will enter a dirt road section that loops through a picnic area. Afterward they will return to the ticket booths at the beautiful Royal Gorge Bridge before finishing.
The 10k course consists of the full picnic loop and a return to the paved road, all runners will then continue for 1 mile towards a water station until being turned around to backtrack.
The final stretch will see participants breeze across the Royal Gorge Bridge before reaching the finish line.
The Half Marathon course will begin with participants running over the Royal Gorge Bridge before then following on a road surface for 5 miles. All participants will turn around just before Gulch Road nad head back onto a dirt road track.
After taking in the beautiful scenery at the trail section, all runners will continue on to finish at the Bridge.
Information on the trail run course will be provided closer to the event date.
