Roundtown Classic 5 Mile/5K Run/Walk

Welcome to the Roundtown Classic, the ultimate annual fundraising event for the Circleville High School Alumni Association! We're here to promote the incredible work of the Circleville City Schools, including scholarships, and we're proud to be a not-for-profit 501 C3 organization since 2005. Get ready to mark your calendars because the race is taking place on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at 8am. The excitement will kick off right in front of Circleville High School, where both the start and finish lines will be located. You'll be navigating the course around the campus and along the neighboring Roundtown Trail – a perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful area. Oh, and don't worry if you can't make it in person - we're thrilled to offer a Virtual option for the 5K and 5 Mile events, which can be completed from July 20th to July 27th, 2024. To make things even more convenient, packet pick-up and registration will be available in front of Circleville High School the day before the race, on Friday, July 19th, from 4pm-8pm. If you prefer to pick up your packet on race day, we've got you covered too – registration will be open from 6:30am-7:30am. Let's talk entry fees, because we want everyone to have a chance to participate. For the Virtual 5K or Virtual 5 Mile, you can simply sign up for just $10. However, if you'd like to receive a shirt and medal along with your Virtual registration, it's only $20 (with an additional $5 fee for shipping if required). If you prefer the in-person experience, the entry fee for the 5K or 5 Mile race is $30, which includes a shirt and medal. And if you're feeling spontaneous, you can even register on race day for $35. We also have something special for the young ones – the "Don Leist Kids Fun Run"! It's absolutely FREE for youth up to age 10, so bring them along and let them experience the joy of participating in their own race. The fun run starts at 9:30am, and you can register on the day of the race. Now, let's talk about the exciting part: awards! We have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall, as well as for each division. It's important to note that you must be present at the awards ceremony to receive your well-deserved recognition. Speaking of divisions, we have separate categories for both males and females in the 5K and 5 Mile races. In the 5K, we have divisions for participants ranging from 10 years old and under to 80 years old and over. For the 5 Mile race, the divisions include ages 13 and under up to 80 years old and over.
