About
In 2020 Milwaukee is going to celebrate United Nations World Water Day at the 9th annual Run 4 Water MKE on April 26th! The 5K run/walk will symbolize distances traveled to access water in other parts of the globe. All proceeds from the Run 4 Water MKE go to projects designed and built by Engineers Without Borders at UW-Milwaukee providing clean water to villages in rural Guatemala.

Get full directionsParking is available in several parking lots located throughout the Veterans Park area. The best location to park is the parking lot just Southeast of the Gift of Wings Kite Store which can be accessed from E Lagoon Dr in the park. There is one other parking lot that can be accessed from E Lagoon Dr located a bit further Northeast of the Gift of Wings Kite Store. Street parking is also available along E Lagoon Dr. The larger McKinley Marina parking lot is accessible from the intersection of E Lafayette Hill Road and Lincoln Memorial Drive.
