This route is mapped around Aintree racecourse, with each race holding a different number of laps.

Half Marathon - 4 Laps
10K - 2 Laps
5K - 1 Lap

Each mile will be accurately marked out, directing runners as well as informing them of how far they have to go.

There will be marshals stationed throughout the course to keep runners on the right path as well as encourage them to keep going.

The nearest train station to the Racecourse is Aintree station, which is just a 6 minute walk away. This station has a direct link to Liverpool Lime Street, which is the nearest mainline station.

Parking

There will be plenty of parking available on site. Parking will be located directly behind the event village.

10:00 Half Marathon starts

10:45 10k starts

10:55 5k starts

13:00 Race closes

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your event to allow time for registration and a solid warm up.

Water Station

There will be a water station on each lap of the race, as well as bottled water at the finish.

Cut-off Time

There will be an overall cut-off time of 3 hours for all runners to complete the course.

Really inclusive race. The looped set up means that slower runners don't feel left behind. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely do this again.

Overall for what I wanted it was a good event, however there was also a lot of disappointment, the event village was just one expensive food seller and a stall selling Bobby hats, which for me is way off an event village. My family came with me thinking they could have a choice of foods and a wonder around some stalls at least, considering they had a 2 hour wait for me 😌, there was not even a shelter for them to sit and drink a coffee or eat. I would think for the 2 thousand or so entrants who most brought family /supporters opening part of Aintree up for them would have created more of an income stream. Think the organisation missed out on a money earner there.

Really enjoyable and well organised event. Second time I’ve done the 10k will definitely be back for more.

Great organised event , lovely people supporting the race , very relaxed atmosphere from everyone there, great timings of all the races , looking forward to future races from this events company , will recommend other runners to there races , only thing I did wrong was throw my timing band in the bin , didn't realise it was still in the envelope , hay ho next time will remember ,Dave.

Everything was brilliant but I was full of cold 😤🤧, I know I should of pulled out but I was looking forward to running with my 2 friends, I hope to be better for February and I’ll do it again, a massive thanks to everyone that looked after us 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
