Here are the distances available for San Diego Resolution Run 5k, 10k & Half Marathon
The courses are paved, fast and flat. There are several areas where there will be 2-way runner traffic so please stay to the right and be aware of passing runners. There is a little bit of grass where you run into the finish line.
There will be a course support station every 1.5-2 miles. If you require more water and electrolytes we recommend carrying a fuel belt or a water bottle so you can fill up at the water stations. In addition to water, Honey Stinger energy fuel/gel and Ultima Replenisher electrolyte drink will be at select course support stations on the course.

There will be porta-potties and several sets of park bathrooms along the course.

USE THE CLAIREMONT DRIVE EXIT. East Mission Bay Drive WILL BE CLOSED 5AM–10AM between Sea World Drive and just south of the Hilton Hotel (see map to the right). From I-5, GPS will probably direct you to the Sea World Drive exit. Instead, use the Clairemont Drive exit (one exit north of Sea World Drive exit) and head south on East Mission Bay Drive. Please plan your time accordingly to arrive, park, and walk to the race site by your start time.
There are parking lots up and down East Mission Bay Drive and also street parking. If you opt to park on the street pay attention to street signs as they may indicate back-in angle parking only. Failure to do so could result in a ticket so pay attention, we don’t want you to get a ticket!
We highly recommend that you carpool! It’s good for the environment, it’s way more fun, and if everyone does it, parking is so much easier.
Drop off:**
There is a drop-off zone just south of the Hilton Hotel and north of race site.

Please allow plenty of time to park, walk to race site, get your bib, and walk to start line by the time your distance starts.
Spectators are strongly encouraged to come along and cheer on the runners.
Can I bring my stroller?
Yes, this event is paved and stroller-friendly. Strollers do not need to be registered.
What does the free 'Runner Recovery Zone' consist of?
SandyFeet events have partnered with local massage therapists, chiropractors, stretch therapists, recovery equipment companies and much more - this is a great incentive for giving it everything during the race.
Is there a cut-off time?
No, runners can take as long as they require. However, the event organisers may need to start to break down the event village.

Did the race in 2020
Well organized, ran this race by myself and felt very welcome and supported. Timing was early and freezing, especially with the wet grass. Feet and Legs were fairly numb for the first mile.
Did the race in 2019
Had a great time at the San Diego Resolution Run 10K, the staff and volunteers were very friendly. About the course, even though I have run Mission Bay many times, I have not done the Fiesta Island loop that often so it was great doing something different. Great start to the year with the chalk board medal and was lucky enough to place in my division so made the race even better. Definitely a run to consider if you don't mind the cold even though the weather was actually pretty mild.
Did the race in 2019
This was my first official race after becoming fat-adapted, which was a huge game-changer! This race was put together pretty well except for the fact that it was cut short by about .80 of a mile - I was really looking forward to an official PR. (I most certainly did PR, by a lot, but it's not official.) Fast and flat course with great views. There was a good turnout and so I did not feel like I was running alone. Overall, a great way to start the year! Looking forward to many more races and continually challenging myself.
Did the race in 2019
I like this race it is the second year I ran the Half at this event but for some reason this year the course was about 3/4 of a mile short. Totally lame because I was on pace to set a PR.
