What is the Plunge?
Well first of all, the Plunge is NOT a swim. The Plunge is a crazy fundraising event where people raise a minimum of $125 for the opportunity to run into and out of chilly waters along with other brave souls with warm hearts. If you can't "bear" the thought of chilly water then just register as a chicken. You’ll be excused from Plunging but still enjoy all the festivities and incentive rewards that our Plungers receive.
Do I have to run and Plunge?
Not at all. You are welcome to participate in the 5K, the 10K or the Plunge. However, if you are the adventurous type, you can register for a run AND Plunge. It is completely up to you. You will make your selection when you register.
IS THE PLUNGE A SWIM?
Absolutely not. Participants run into the water, frolic around for a minute or two, snap photos, then out of the water we go!
What's included
Plunge Perks
Have a blast! All registered participants who raise the minimum $125 will receive the long sleeve Polar Plunge T-shirt and a delicious breakfast burrito as you gear up for the Plunge. Additional incentive rewards can be earned so the more you raise the more you can receive (and the ore our athletes benefit)! Polar Plunge T-shirts are distributed at the Plunge, any other incentives you earn will be mailed to you. Watch for an email after the Plunge to claim your rewards!

Spectator Info
There is no cost to join the festivities and cheer on the plungers. Tickets are available onsite for the Polar Plunge meal and Plunge Pub.
