We strongly encourage carpooling and getting to the start line early, as there may be traffic. Allow sufficient time for heavy traffic congestion and street closures due to the race.

Available at Grand Galvez on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 6:30 am – 7:45 am.

Race day packet pick up will close at exactly 7:45 am, so Santa says to come early and be prepared for long lines!

Age Restrictions

There are no age restrictions at this event. We recommend kids are aged between 2 and 10 years old.

Awards

The top three male & female finishers in each age group for the 5k and Half Marathon will receive an award. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive a Santa Hustle® personalized award. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

Gear Check

Gear check will be available for all race participants starting at 6:30 am.

Before the race starts, you can leave a bag with your personal items at our Gear Check tent. Please make sure to use the provided tear off on your race bib and zip tie it to your bag. Our volunteers will need this so they can quickly and easily help you claim your bag after the race is over.

Any gear not picked up by 11:30 am on race day will be transported to our main office in Palatine, IL. Items not claimed within 30 days will be donated to a local charity.

After Party

The Official 2022 Santa Hustle® Galveston after party will take place at MarMo Plaza.

FAQs

Do I have to register my child who is in a stroller or just wants to run/walk with me at the Santa Hustle - Galveston?

Strollers are allowed, and you only need to register your child if they want to be timed and get all the gear.

Can I pick up my friend’s packet or have my friend pick up my packet for the Santa Hustle - Galveeston?

Yes. You can pick up a friend’s packet during packet pick up and vice versa, a friend can pick up your packet. You can either bring an email confirmation ticket, or know the correct spelling of your friend’s last names.

I have a large group. Can you put my group’s packets together in advance at the Santa Hustle - Galveston

Yes! This makes packet pick up go much smoother for everyone. If you have a group of 15 or more please contact Adrenaline Special Events with your list of names, and we’ll put your group’s packets together for one person to easily pick them up.
