Route information
The Silver Moon Race is a lap race where you will be able to do as many laps as possible in the race with a 2 mile lap course. The course offers beauty and changes in landscapes as you progress through with it being all dirt farm road. The course is relatively flat except for one hill section with a 30 foot climb up and then down on a gradual slope.
There will be a designated drop bag area that you can place a bag or cooler to quickly access as needed when coming through the checkpoint lap.

How to get there

Location
The race is located in on private farmlands in Reedley, California. Participants enter through Reedley College Farm Laboratory entrance approximately 3/4 of a mile north of Reedley College off N Reed Ave and then follow signs to park and race location.
Directions
To get to Reedley, California you want to get to the 99 freeway.
Take 99 Freeway going towards Fresno, Exit at Manning Avenue Coming from Northbound 99, turn right Coming from Southbound 99, turn right going over the freeway. Follow E. Manning Avenue for approximately 12 miles. After crossing the Kings River bridge go Left to follow E. Manning Ave. Next light, turn Left onto N. Reed Ave and follow for 3/4 mile. Turn left into Reedley College Farm Laboratory entrance. Carefully drive through the farm fields following signs to the event and parking location.
Parking
Once you arrive at Reedley College Farm Laboratory gate follow the farm road and event signs to the event. Carpooling is recommended.
Event day logistics

8:00am to 2:00pm Early camp set up
2:00pm to 5:30pm Check in
6:00pm All races begin
12:00pm 6 hour race finishes
Sunday
6:00am 12 hour finish
6:00pm 24 hour finish
12:00pm 100 mile finish
Team Relay
Relay teams can consist of 4 team members who can run in the 6/12/24 hour or 100-mile categories.
Teams can either rotate each lap, rotate on an equal set of laps or rotate on a fixed time. It is recommended for relay teams to camp at the festival.
Teams must pass their bibs using a bib belt in order to ensure that their times are recorded.

Pacers are permitted on the courses
Leaderboards
There will be leaderboards at the event to track your number of laps throughout.
Camping
You can reserve a camping area when registering, there are portable toilets and a trash dumpster for all. No campfires or alcohol is allowed. Please leave the area by Sunday night and clean up after yourself.
Car passes can be purchased which enable users to park their car on the campsite. This is also extended to RVs for an additional charge.
Timings
Participants will be timed using a MyLaps timing system.
Restrooms
There are restrooms at the event site.
Age Requirements
You must be 12 years old to enter the 12k, 14 years old to enter the 6/12 hours and 16 years old to enter the 24 hours/100 miles.
Cut-off times
Cut off times are as follows:
6:00am 12 hour cut-off
6:00pm 24 hour cut-off
12:00pm 100 mile cut-off
Relay
Relay teams must be made up for 4 team members. Runners must run equal time lengths or lap numbers before changing onto their partners.

Event parking will be on the farms within the race location. While there is ample parking, depending on where you are coming from it can be a long drive, so we recommend to buddy up and carpool to the race together and make it an awesome race adventure!
