Route information
5k, 10k, Kids Dash & 1 Miler
Terrain: Pavement/Road
The course is flat and fast, or slow and easy. Make it the pace you want it. The 5k & 10k courses are out-and-back, and hug the panoramic beachside, making for a pristine event experience for participants.
Runners in the 5k will turn around at lot 17 and return along Bolsa Chica State Beach towards the finishing lines whilst those in the 10k will run further up the course towards Dog Beach Bluff Top before turning around and heading back towards the finishing area.

Take the CA - 1 towards Bolsa Chica State Beach down the Pacific Coast Highway and find the event area.
Parking
Event in lot 25 of Bolsa Chica State Beach. (Closest to the corner of Warner and PCH) State Park charges $15 per car. Drivers must enter at the main gate on PCH.
Public parking is also available behind the Jack in the Box in Sunset Beach.

12:00 - 3:00 pm Early Packet Pickup opens from Costa Mesa Road Runner Sports

6:30am Vendors arrive and set up; Volunteers arrive and check-in
6:45am-8:00am Registration and Packet Pickup opens

Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will open on Saturday between 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm and on the day of the race (Sunday) between 6:45 am - 8:00 am.
Pancakes
Pancakes will be served between 7:15 - 9:30 am which supports the Kiwanis and Kid's read.
Polynesian Theme
There will be a Polynesian-themed start area at the event, with live drummers and dancers providing an excellent race atmosphere.
Chip-timed Results
The event will be chip-timed for all participants.
Age Requirements
There are no age restrictions for the event, meaning fun for all the family.
Commemorative Bibs
All participants in the event will receive a commemorative bib.
Cut-off Time
There is no cut-off time for this event. Please do take your time and run at your own pace.
Aid Stations
Information about aid stations will be revealed closer to the event.
Toilets
Toilets will be located at the end of Lot 25.

The top 3 participants in the following categories will be recognized: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Yes, collection will be at Costa Mesa's Road Runner Sports on Saturday from noon to 3pm. No ID is required.
