Route information
Both routes will start and finish just outside of Solvang, a picturesque town in Southern California featuring horse-drawn carriages, people in costume, wine-tasting and vineyards (perfect to keep spectators entertained whilst you're out on the ride).
You'll make your way through the easter Santa Ynez Valley before riding up to the famous Foxen Canyon. You'll bypass Santa Maria on your way north to San Luis Obispo where you'll stop for lunch. After lunch you'll head back south through Pismo Beach to Guadalupe, along Highway 1 then 135 and back to Solvang.

Cut-off Times
The overall cut-off time will be 17 hours to complete the course. The 17 hours will be based on the 4:30am start, meaning that all riders must finish by 9:30pm.
The aid stations will have rolling closures to keep on pace with a 9:30pm finish.
Lights
It is likely that you will start before sunrise and finish after sunset, this means you must have lights and reflective bands on both ankles.
