Get involved in the second of this 4-race summer tri series in upstate New York. This speedy course (but with a hilly bike section) is great for new triathletes and veterans looking to throw down some quick times. Be sure to take part in the post-race picnic and enjoy the complimentary STBC beer.

Southern Tier Triathlon Club Summer Tri Series #2 – July route

This race consists of a 400 yd swim, 13 mile hilly bike and a 2 mile flat run. A serious speed workout for veteran athletes and a manageable distance for first time triathletes. All ages and ability levels are welcome.

From the organizer

This is one for everyone, from first-time tri-goers to well-seasoned triathletes. It's a sprint distance triathlon, suiting all ages and abilities, including relay teams of 2 or 3. This is the second of a four race Summer Tri-Series ending in September. Complete this sprint tri and be rewarded with a pot-luck picnic spread at the finish line.

What’s Included

The awards ceremony will swiftly be followed by a pot-luck picnic where all runners will be asked to share a home-made dish (beverages, silverware and paper products are provided) There will be awards for overall and age group winners.

4:00-5:30 pm - Registration and packet pick-up

    Can I register on race day? - Absolutely

    Do I need to bring anything to the race? - This is a USAT sanctioned event. All athletes must produce a valid USAT Annual Membership on race day along with photo ID or purchase a one-day license for $15 or $10 for Kids Annual Membership 17 & Under. CASH OR CHECK ONLY ON RACE DAY. NO CREDIT CARDS.
