Southern Utah Triathlon

The Southern Utah Triathlon takes place just North of St. George at Quail Creek State Park. The swim starts with a few wave starts and in water start. The air and water temperature this time of year averages between 70-75 degrees. The swim is a triangle swim of 750 Meters for the Sprint and the Olympic does this twice for 1500 Meters. Transitioning out of the water you will run up the boat ramp around 50 yards and then ride an out and back route near Hurricane Utah. The bike course has a few climbs but with that some down hill rides with it. The run course is an out and back heading South on the exit. Sprint will turn around at 1.55 Miles for a return trip of 3.1 Miles and Olympic will do the Sprint distance twice totalling 6.2 Miles. This course is beautiful and incredibly landscaped.

**Swim
**This is an out and back course along the shore of Quail Creek. Races go out 375 Meters and back for 750 Meters on the Sprint and the Olympic does the course twice for 1500 Meters.

**Bike
**This is an out and back course along Main Street in Leeds and Hurricane, Utah. Go out 6.2 Miles and back for 12.4 Miles on the Sprint and the Olympic course does this route twice.

**Run
**This is an out and back course along 5300 West with the lake to the East. Go out 1.55 Miles and back for 3.1 Miles on the Sprint and the Olympic course does this route twice for 6.2 Miles.
