Spartan Race - Arizona routes

Hurricane Heat:

The Hurricane Heat is a unique event, traversing on and off the Spartan Race Course. Hurricane Heat Participants will be assigned a team upon arrival and will be expected to work together to complete any and all challenges set before them, as a team. You can't finish alone. The HH12HR finds a balance between team building and individualism. By utilizing tactics similar to those of the Special Operations groups of various Military Branches, only the most qualified Spartans will be selected. Those who are selected and are capable of getting their squadron across the elusive finish will have earned their place among the few. Only 40% of those who sign up for an HH12HR finish, will you be one of them? Must be 18 or older to participate.

Super: 8-10 Miles & 24-29 Obstacles

There’s nothing mediocre about this middle distance race. The Spartan Super offers the ideal blend between distance and speed. Offering racers a true athletic test. If you consider yourself a more seasoned athlete determined to push beyond excuses, you just might have the mettle for a Spartan Super. Serving up 24-29 Spartan Obstacles and 8-10 miles of rugged terrain, the Spartan Super spares no one. Developed as the second race in the Spartan Trifecta, the Super is where you prove to yourself you’ve got everything it takes to face the Beast.

Sprint: 3+ miles & 20-23 Obstacles:

The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favourite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they can push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you’ll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.

Kids Race:

Spartan Race isn't just for adults. Our Spartan Kids Race offers two distances for the little Spartans in your life. Based on age, our Kids races have obstacles in them just like the grown up versions. Come watch your future Spartans run, jump, and play just like they're supposed to.

With the Festival Pass, you get a coupon at registration (redeemable at the merchandise tent). Additionally you will have viewing access of some obstacles, the start and finish line, the vendor tents, and hot food for sale on the grounds. Enjoy music while watching your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course, from the Spartan festival grounds. Raffles, entertainment, spectator challenges, free muddy hugs from Spartan athletes, and all the other festival perks makes spectating all worth while. The next ticket you will want to buy will be a race entry.
