Spartan is a leader in the sport of obstacle racing, offering open heats for all fitness levels, as well as competitive and elite heats for those with something more to prove. The first of its kind to feature timing and global rankings, Spartan provides a proving ground for beginner and professional obstacle racers looking to test themselves in new ways across the world.

Yes, a lot of teams take part in Spartan races in the Open heats. There are discounts and offers available for teams, so get a group of friends together for the challenge. Your friendship might be tested in some of the difficult stages, but it will be stronger than ever afterwards once you've been through it all together. The Sprint may be our shortest distance race, but it’s still a favourite amongst both new and returning racers. It’s the perfect distance for those looking to start their Spartan journey. The Sprint also allows returning racers a manageable distance to see how far they can push themselves. Delivering 20-23 obstacles over 3-5 miles, you’ll never run the same race twice. Once you complete the sprint you are 1/3 on your Spartan TRIFECTA: The ultimate Spartan achievement.
Kids Race:
Spartan Race isn't just for adults. Our Spartan Kids Race offers two distances for the little Spartans in your life. Based on age, our Kids races have obstacles in them just like the grown up versions. Come watch your future Spartans run, jump, and play just like they're supposed to.
Schedule:
7:30am: Elite Men
7:45am: Elite Women
8:00am – 8:30am: Age Group Start Times
8:45am – 12:00pm: Morning Start Times
12:15pm: Afternoon Start Times Begin
The race will be in waves starts, with 250+ racers being released every 15 minutes.
Exact start time in the group you registered for will be posted under the Race Day tab a few days prior to the events date.
Spectators are welcome to get front row seats in the festival area to support their friends and family. You'll stay (mostly) out of the mud splatter zone! Entry to the festival costs $20 in advance or $25 on the day, and the pass will give you access to all the stalls and entertainment of the festival village, as well as a merchandise discount card. Kids under 13 go free.
As a Spartan Race Volunteer, you will ensure that all racers and spectators have a truly epic experience.
This is the perfect way to be part of the thriving race atmosphere which Spartan events are known for while contributing to the overall success of the day.
