Spartan Race – Citizens Bank Park - Stadion

Event summary

Take part in this epic event set in the City of Brotherly Love's baseball stadium. You'll be seriously challenged as you crawl through tunnels and climb the concourses, but it'll all be worth it when you tuck into Philadelphia's favorite hoagie or cheesesteak after the race.

FAQ
Can I skip an obstacle? Is there a penalty?
NO. Skipping obstacles is not part of the Spartans' ethos. Obstacles are there to be overcome! Spartan races strongly discourage skipping obstacles without at least giving them a try, as it is unfair to others that do attempt them. However, if there is an obstacle that you simply cannot overcome despite your effort and you NEED to miss it out, the forfeit is completing a set of burpees before you are allowed to move on. That can add up to a lot of burpees if you have to miss every obstacle, so come with a positive mindset that you can overcome any obstacle on the course. … read more
FAQ
What are the age limits for the kids races?
Kids from ages 4-13 are allowed to take part. Kids are separated according to age groups, but we can stick with friends or siblings if you want to compete together. Parents and guardians aren’t obliged to accompany their children around the course but you can if your child wants support…that's if you can keep up with them!… read more

3 mi/5 km 20 Obstacles (Stadion Distance):

The Stadion was an ancient Greek running event and a historic, original Olympic Game. It got its name from the storied stadium it took place in. Now, we’re letting you compete in the legendary stadiums of today and add to their history. But unlike Ancient Greece, all levels are encouraged to take part and enjoy themselves. No matter your level, set your own personal record and etch a new chapter in your own history book.

Kids Race:

Spartan Race isn't just for adults. Our Spartan Kids Race offers two distances for the little Spartans in your life. Based on age, our Kids races have obstacles in them just like the grown up versions. Come watch your future Spartans run, jump, and play just like they're supposed to.
