Calling all die-hard baseball fans and Spartan lovers alike to experience Citi Field like never before. Covering 3 miles and 20 infamous Spartan obstacles, this event is sure to be a home run. Participants can expect bumping music, tough challenges, and to smash their personal records out the park.

Spartan Stadion - Citi Field New York routes

Citi Field, home of MLB team New York Mets, is proud to host this legendary Spartan obstacle race this spring.

Experience the ball park like never before, racing 3+ miles around the grounds over 15+ obstacles, into the bleachers, over walls and under nets, and smashing the expectations of your limits out of the park.

With start times for participants of all abilities, the event welcomes speed, grit, and limitless camaraderie.

It's the perfect event for the whole family with 1/2 or 1 mile races for the kids, showing them the ropes (literally) to become future Spartan champions.

Adult Events:

06:00am - Registration Opens
07:00am - Elite Men
07:15am - Elite Women
07:30am - 8:00am - Age Group Start Times
08:15am - 12:45pm - Morning Start Times
01:00pm - Afternoon Start Times Begin

Last Heat: TBD (will be posted here 10 days prior to event day)

Starting at 7:00am, waves of 15 racers will be released every minute.

Please arrive at least an hour before your start time to ensure plenty of time for registration

Kids Events:

1 Mile: Ages 7-13
Start times: 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm

1/2 Mile: Ages 4-6
Start times: 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm

Parking:
Parking will be available at the Stadium for $15 a car paid at entry by cash or credit. Parking is located:

Located on the west side of Citi Field in Lots D, E & F. All parking needs to enter through Gate 8 off Shea Road (North side of Citi Field). No parking in Lot G through gate 1 (Entry off 126th St).

Spectators

Spectators will enjoy front row seats to the action from the Spartan Festival ground area within the park. Fans will enjoy watching the participants conquer obstacles and receive their finisher's medal. The festival pass includes a merchandise discount card redeemable at the merchandise tent, access to view multiple key obstacles on the course, finish line viewing, the vendor tents, and hot food for sale on the grounds.

Volunteers

As a Spartan Race volunteer, you will help the racers and spectators to have an epic race day. A big AROO for all volunteers as you will have a unique race experience in all that is Spartan:

Can I bring my pet to this event?
Unfortunately, for safety concerns, pets are not allowed at this event.
Can I transfer my entry?
Life happens sometimes and Spartan Race will allow you to defer or transfer your registration. You have until 30 days until after your event to defer the registration to a new event. From then, you have 90 days after the event to sign up for a new event (note, the event does not need to occur within the 90 days). You can also defer your entrance to a different person. Please see event website for more details.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fees include parking services, entrance to the festival, bag check, and a merch discount.
