Starting beside the Stinson Beach parking lot, the route runs to the south of the beach, touched the big rock and turns around. The routes then runs past the start/finish line and goes to the north end of the beach to the other turn around. There will be a cone at the north end, where runners will turn back and run to the start/finish line.
