This event covers some of the extraordinary Surfer’s Path course. The scenery is amazing. Participants are treated to beach front views of the Monterey Bay along the majestic Santa Cruz County coastline. You travel the Surfer’s Path, passing many of the world’s most famous surf breaks.

Route information
The Surfer’s Path 10k consists of a 6.2 mile run/walk and the 5k consists of a 3.1 mile run/walk. The course enters onto scenic East Cliff Drive, offering breathtaking views of the Monterey Bay. The course does carry on and present further amazing views along the way.

The start and finish areas are set in two locations, less than a mile apart. It is recommended parking midway between the start and finish.
If you are planning to be dropped off near the start line, drivers can continue to Capitola Village parking lots above Capitola Village and the Finish.
Access to Beach and Village Parking Lots 1 & 2 (Upper and Lower) is on Capitola Avenue, Bay Avenue and Monterey Avenue. Parking costs for these lots is $0.50 an hour and you can pay for up to 12 hours.
The Finish Line is located at the corner of Esplanade and San Jose Ave, at 203 Esplanade in Capitola Village.

Registration will be available near the start line race morning beginning at 7:00am.
Where will I be able to find aid stations?
There are three course water stations located at approximately miles 1.7, 3.5 and 4.3.

Post race activities take place in Capitola Village near the beach.
