Schedule:
Friday, July 10:
12:00pm – 5:00pm: Packet pickup, registration and drop bag collection
Where: The Village at Northstar – across from the gondola
- Here you will receive your participant shirt, race plate and answers to any questions.
- Photo ID is required and packets must be picked up in person. They will not be given to family or friends.
- 100K riders may drop their bags at this point (see Bag Drop details below)
1:00pm: Course pre-ride
- This brief ride will cover 6-8 miles of the start/finish area. Stick around to get your questions answered by ride leaders.
3:45pm: Athlete meeting
- Race staff will take riders through final details, any last-minute changes, course descriptions and other important information.
Saturday, July 13:
5:30am – 6:45am: Packet pickup, registration and drop bag collection
Where: The Village at Northstar – across from the gondola
- This is another opportunity to pick up your participant shirt, race plate and ask any questions you may have. Please arrive as early as possible.
- Photo ID is required and packets must be picked up in person. They will not be given to family or friends.
- 100K riders may drop their bags at this point (see Bag Drop details below)
7:00am: Race start
Where: Bottom of Northstar Drive; 150 Northstar Dr, Truckee, CA 96161
- Take the first right at the roundabout just off the highway to get to the start area.
- Each athlete will self-position at the start line based on ability, with pros up front, space is first-come-first serve. Please be honest as it is for safety purposes.
- 50K and 100K riders will start together.
- Parking is available at the Village view Parking Lot A. Riders will continue up Northstar Drive and into the Village before taking their tires to the trails.
11:00am: Finish Festival begins
Where: The Village at Northstar – Overlook Pavilion
- This great finish festival will have music, cold beer, fantastic food and is the perfect place to celebrate with family, friends, and fellow riders.
2:00pm: 50K Awards Ceremony
3:15pm: Official 100K Finish Time
- 100K riders must finish by this time to be eligible for the LT100 MTB lottery.
3:30pm 100K Awards Ceremony & LT100 MTB Lottery
- Winners will be announced and will take their place on the podium.
- There will also be a chance for qualified entrants to enter your race number into a lottery for a chance to win a coveted spot in the LT100 MTB. We’ll call up overall and age group winners for their place on the podium, plus we’ll give away other random prizes.
- Winners must be present to claim their spot, which they can utilize in 2019 or defer to 2020.

Course Cutoffs:
- 1 (19.2 miles) – 9:30am
- 2 (31.9 miles) – 11:00am
- 3 (53 miles) – 2:00pm
- 3:15pm: Official Finish Time
Bag Drop:
- All 100K participants are welcome to assemble one drop bag, which will be collected at both packet pickups.
- Please keep bags to the size of a medium duffel bag or small cooler, and write your name on the bag so you are able to identify it easily.
- Bags will be transported to the mid-point of the course near Aid Station #3, and will be available for pickup at the finish line.

Race Plates and Wristbands:
All participating riders will receive race plates and wristbands when they collect their packet. These must be worn and visible at all times on the day of the race. Please attach race plates to you handlebars and do not cut or fold them. 100K riders should keep their wristbands on for the LT100 MTB lottery.
