Temecula Half Marathon & 5K routes

Half Marathon Terrain: The course is a mix of paved roads and dirt roads. The dirt roads are hard packed, this is NOT a trail run. It is very scenic so bring your phone to take some selfies.

Half Marathon Elevation: Beginning elevation is 1225 and max elevation is 1643. We recommend training for the Temecula Half Marathon on hills!

Can I bring my stroller?

For the 5K only. They do not have to be registered. Unfortunately, the half marathon course is not suitable for strollers.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no 🙁 We ourselves would LOVE to be able to bring our own little furry running companions – however our venue’s rules prevent us from allowing pets.

Do I have to go to bib pick-up prior to the race?

Although we highly recommend going to bib pick-up in order to make your race morning easier, it is not required. Bib pick-up will also be available on race morning starting at 5:30am.

Does everyone get a finisher medal, including the 5K finishers?

YES and they’re AWESOME!

Can I buy the sweet Temecula Half gear after the race?

YES but we recommend you pre-purchase to ensure your size and style!

Does every registered runner get wine tasting?

Yes if you are 21+ and have your ID. Wine, beer, spirit and libation tastings and a signature logo glass are included in the price of your race entry. There will also be additional glasses and tickets available for sale after the race. Bring cash or card if you want to partake in a little extra! (And trust us, you will!)

Can my friends & family participate in the post-race wine tasting?

YES they can if they are 21+ with ID. Extra signature logo’d wine glasses and tasting tickets will be available for purchase after the race – be sure to bring cash or card and your ID!

How much water and fuel is on the course?

There will be course support every 1.5-2.5 miles. If you like to drink more water than that we recommend carrying a fuel belt or a water bottle so you can fill up at the water stations. In addition to water, energy fuel/gel and Ultima Replenisher electrolyte drink will be at select course support stations.

Are there bathrooms on the course?

YES there are porta-potties at three of the water stations on course.

Is there a time limit?

The half marathon course is limited to four hours. However we will not kick you off of the course, you just have to obey traffic laws as the roads open back up.

Do I get a shirt?

You get a logo’d collectible wine glass! We use green practices as much as possible so in an effort to keep one-time use t-shirts out of landfills, our registration prices are lower and let you choose whether to buy a shirt or not!
