Route information
Distance: 5k, 10k & 25k
Terrain: Mountain & Gravel
The 5k course takes participants up the Talon trail after being released in groups. The 5k route will begin at the Limekiln Trailhead and then twist through the Little bear and Zook Loop trails before ending at the start/finish area.
The 10k course follows the 5k route out before runners then take the South Talon trail which they will continue on before looping around and doubling back towards the sundance trail.
Participants will then join the Zook Loop before finishing at the start area.
The 25k course is completely independent of the 5 and 10k's and begins at the Mountain Loop before runners snake onto the Dragon's Backbone and tackle some steep elevation during this segment. Runners will then rejoin on the Dixon Trail and follow it until they reach the Talon Trail. From this point, there are just 3.3 miles to the finish at Limekiln.
