The Double Duathlon race is a one-of-a-kind multisport event. It takes place at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA and features three runs and two bikes! It starts with a 2 mile run, then a 5 mile road bike, then a 2 mile run, then a 5 mile road bike, then a final 2 mile run.

Route information
The 2 mile run course is the same for all three Run legs of the race. The 2 mile run course will start out north on trails and open areas between Granite Beach and Oak Point. There is a turn around on Old County Road; then the course returns to Granite Beach to an aid station located on the rock levee next to the parking lot. After the aid station, runners will follow the rock levee south and make a left turn before Activity Center Road and return to the finish line/transition area.
The 5 mile road bike course will be inside the park and follow roads north to Oak Point, Doton’s Point, Beeks Bight and finish back at Granite Beach, returning to the transition area after each of the two separate bike legs.
This event consists of 5 sections, a 2 Mile run, 5 Mile cycle, 2 Mile run, 5 Mile cycle and finally another 2 Mile run.
