It was a great race! The race had a Beautiful veiw, plenty of water stations, and plenty of Volunteers to help you along the course. It was a really good race if you have never ran a half Marathon and wanted to try something a little less then the ten miler is perfect and the rolling hill will push you but not enough that if your just getting into running that you cant do it ! I enjoyed the race and its for a good cause ! I will run the race again and will Recommend it to other!

The race course was awesome with great views of the farm. I would have like to have a little more organization so more people would have come out to run the race. Not a lot of advertising the race. This race is a good pre run the bluegrass run

This is the second time I have ran this race. This year's course was a little different then last year. The whole race is ran on black top through the horse farm with a a mile or two on a small two lane road. Great organization and plenty of communication (emails). Not even 200 runners this year, so not crowded at all. Easy same day packet pickup. There were 3 water stations with water and sword, that you pass each one a couple of times. Couple hills on the course but all are runnable, and the rest of the course is either rolling or flat. Last, great scennery, and horses out running in the paddocks. Good starter race, because not alot of people, bit also a PR race, because the course is runner friendly. Recommend

2nd year doing this race. The course is beautiful. The weather has been bad the last 2 years but sometimes you just gotta tough it out. The sponsors have been great as well in providing a fun experience. I hope to be back next year.

This is a beautiful, scenic, well-organized race in the heart of the Bluegrass State. I have run the 10-mile race for the past two years. The course is on a lovely horse farm with a few rolling hills. Often horses come up to the fence to greet runners as they go by. This race is still in its infancy stages as it has only been established for, I believe, 4 years. Proceeds for the race goes towards a worthwhile non-profit, #SurgeryOnSunday.
