About
Get ready to join the vibrant tradition and community spirit at the 48th annual Sam Lapidus Montclair Run! Kicking off since 1976, this event has grown to become a beloved Thanksgiving tradition for families and friends. In heartfelt tribute, we renamed this race to honor the inspiring Sam Lapidus, who valiantly fought Ewing’s Sarcoma. With your participation, we continue his legacy, donating $5 from each registration to fight childhood cancer at the Alabama Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders. Let's run together, celebrate life, and make a meaningful impact—with over $100,000 already donated, every step you take helps us do more.
Calling all costume enthusiasts—come decked out and you might just jog away with a best-dressed award! And remember, the Sam Lapidus Montclair Run is more than a race; it's a chance to connect with the Levite Jewish Community Center's diverse and inclusive family. We've got a fantastic fitness center, diverse programs, and an inviting community space awaiting you on 70 lush acres. All set for race day? Snag your packet and join us in making every mile count!
