Get ready to Sasquatch Scramble through beautiful Redwood Regional Park which contains the largest remaining natural stand of coast redwood found in the East Bay. The event provides the opportunity to explore the park by foot alongside fellow adventure lovers, and the post-race party at Brewfest is enough to make any runner speed along the trails.
The 5k and 10k trails are out-and-back routes, letting runners experience the iconic redwood forests from unique perspectives. The 10k route contains a variety of switchbacks during the descent, making for a varied and technical course.
The Half Marathon trail features 451m of elevation gain, making this unique course a fantastic opportunity for trail runners to test their uphill skills. Runners will jet into the center of the park, running alongside the panoramic Redwood Creek whilst drifting down the Stream trail.
With a gentle downhill section funneling runners through to the finish in all 3 events, participants are perfectly positioned to enjoy the panoramic views found in these lush and varied courses.

Travel to the start area by taking the CO 13 and taking the exit onto Redwood Road. Follow this until reaching the Canyon Meadow Staging Area.
Parking
There is parking available at Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, however, it is limited, and carpooling is encouraged.
Please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes in advance to also guarantee a parking spot within the park. Bring cash as you will need to pay for a parking permit when you arrive.

Cut-off Times
All in-person events will end at 1:00 pm. This is 3:15hrs after the 5k starts, 3:30hrs after the 10k starts, and 3:45hrs after the half marathon starts.
