It was a hilly course with a relatively tricky first mile. There was not a full lane shut down for the run so either pick the sidewalk or the bike lane that is blocked off.

It was my first time running the Lakeside Viking 5K and my 3rd 5K race. My friend Ryan invited me and as his daughter Katie was a participant for the Kyle Pease Foundation. I loved the atmosphere was festive and friendly. My only regret is that I did not have anything festive on. The costumes were amazing and fun! I will be running this race every year from now.
