Fun festival atmosphere with triathlon, duathlon and aquabike options available for all ages! Great for all the family. Come and enjoy the live music and relax by the fire pit whilst wearing your well-earned finisher medals and t-shirts.

Ticonderoga Triathlon Festival routes

Sprint & Olympic

Dive into the clear water of Lake George to start the race with a 750m swim, following on to a flat-ish 12 mile bike ride and a 5K run along the lake - finishing next to the beach. The Olympic course will be 2 laps of each.


Start off with a 2 mile run along the lake before taking on the flat-ish 12 mile bike ride and finishing off with another 2 mile run - finishing next to the beach.

Kids Triathlon

11 & under: 100m swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run

Ages 12 - 17: 200m swim, 6 mile bike, 1 mile run

Raceday Logistics

Schedule of Events;

    Friday – Packet Pick Up at race site (TBA) & Volunteer party
    Saturday – 7:30am – Sprint Triathlon & AquaBike
    9:00am – Olympic Triathlon & AquaBike 2:30pm – Kids Triathlon

Sunday – 9:00am – Duathlon

Kit List


    Goggles (tinted and clear for different light conditions)
    Swim cap
    Number belt if you’re not using safety pins
    Heart rate monitor/GPS if you’re using one
    Timing chip and strap


    Bike shoes
    Mini pump
    Spare inner tubes
    Bottle(s) pre-filled with your race drink
    Jacket (optional dependent on weather and time of year racing)


    Running shoes
    Cap and socks if you wear them
    Jacket (optional dependent on weather and time of year racing)

Cheer on your friends and family from beach - where you can see the athletes setting out from transition and watch them come over the finish line after the run.


Volunteer Party on the Friday night for those volunteering during the event! Join the other volunteers and enjoy the fire pit, pizza and refreshments in your volunteer team t-shirts.

Please visit the organizers website to register as a volunteer.



No rollerblades, skateboards, or motorized vehicles. No dogs. No unregistered participants. No transferring of bib #’s to other people. Headphones discouraged.

All races are USAT sanctioned and all rules and regulations apply, and there will be no refunds for this event. Race is held Rain or Shine. NOTE, bar ends must be plugged (plugs are readily available at bike shops). Any bike without bar ends plugged will not be allowed to race. It is the participant’s responsibility to know the rules for an event sanctioned by USA Triathlon.

If not a current USAT member you will be required to purchase one day event coverage during registration or on race day. $15 for Adults, $10 for Children. Cash or check only on race day.

Race day registration is always available with Cash or Check only.


Water & Hammer Nutrition at start/finish, transition and three locations on the 10K run course. No fluids offered on bike course.

Port-a-johns at race start/finish and on run course

On-course bike support.
