Route information
The 5K route follows the Big Dry Creek Trail, passing through Westminster City Park and along Walnut Creek, and taking in views of the flatirons. The route is mainly on concrete, but is about 30% dirt and gravel. The course is very flat, with a total elevation gain of only 26m.

Parking:
Set your satnav to: 10611 Westminster Blvd, Westminster, CO 80020. Parking is located behind Caribou Coffee/Fat Cats. Please do not use the parking lot behind the Westin. There is limited parking South of the venue and outside the Westin.
Event day logistics
Please do not forget to collect your race bib/t-shirt at registration. Early packet pick-up will be held at Road Runner Sports, 10436 Town Center Drive Suite 300, Westminster, CO 80021
Timings:
- 07:00 - Bib/t-shirt pick up and registration opens
- 09:00 - Registration closes
- 09:30 - TK's 5K Run Starts
- 09:35 - TK's 5K Walk Starts
Please note that packet pick-up closes half an hour before the races, so you are advised to arrive in good time to collect your packet and warm-up for the race.
Spectator Info
All spectators are welcome for this fun event, and can take part in the raffle while participants are on the course. There is a special platform where you can get a good view of runners and the park.

Can I register on the day?
Yes, same-day registration is available, but at a higher price of $40. Please bring cash or check.
What is the event raising money for?
100% of the profits raised by the event will be donated to the American Transplant Foundation. The charity supports families going through a transplant. The race is in memory of Troy Kenneth Merkle, who had Alagille Syndrome and sadly did not survive the liver transplant surgery.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, you may run with your dog, as long as it is on a leash.
Is the course stroller friendly?
Yes, the course is suitable for strollers.
