Excellent! I won my age group for the third time in a row. The reason I rated the course just 'OK' is because the back road coming up the hill needs a serious repaving job. It's like riding the cobbles in the Tour de France. At least the cones were placed such that you could use the whole right lane to dodge all of the pot holes and cracks. Also, the transition area needs a repaving job as well or just a running mat between all of the bike racks. The turn-around point of the run was also one-tenth of a mile further than the last three years, for a total of .2 miles total further. No wonder my run time was much slower than the last two years. And it would be great to have a few more buoys to sight off of during the swim.
