Route information
Low tide is at 7:22 am, so there will be great running conditions all morning.
Miles 1 through 5 of the out course are generally very flat, wide and hard-packed so all 10k runners will have very good running conditions.
The beach begins to slope a bit and is not as wide from mile 5 to the turnaround point at mile 6.55 so 1/2 marathoners take note that conditions will be a little more challenging from mile 5 to about mile 8. The sand is still hard-packed, but the beach is narrower than other parts of the course.

There is metered street parking on side streets near the pier. Cocoa Beach Police monitor these meters and will cite any car that is at an expired meter. Bring lots of quarters.

It is recommended that you try to collect your race packet on the Saturday before the race, to allow for a smoother morning on race day.

When and where does packet collection take place?
Collection will take place on the Saturday between 11am until 5pm at Ron Jon Surf Shop, 4151 North Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach FL.
Additionally, there will be packet pick up the morning from 5am.
Are there toilet facilities?
There will be restrooms available at Shepard Park, please follow the signs. There will also be public toilets that can be used throughout the course.
Are there aid stations?
Yes, there will be 2 stations during the 10k and 4 during the half marathon. These will be stocked with water and gatorade and can be found at:
