Route information
Each route follows a fast, downhill, point-to-point course. Runners will be taken along roads and flat terrain ensuring all they have to focus on is the run itself.
The 5k starts and finishes in Mission Park, while the Half Marathon and Marathon distances start at different locations before finishing in Mission Park.
The Marathon starts on McNell Rd in Ojai between Grand Ave and Reeves Rd and the Half Marathon starts on Loma Dr by Valley Oak Charter School.

Event parking is available at the Ventura County Fairgrounds ($8 cash) and through downtown Ventura. Runners will park and board a shuttle to the start line from the Fairgrounds.

Packet Pick-Up
Race day packet pick-up is available for Marathon and Half Marathon runners for an additional $20 and must be selected when registering for the event. This is available until February 12th.
If you’re picking up on Sunday, leave plenty of time to park and catch the shuttle. You will use your registration confirmation email to load the shuttle. if you get dropped off at your start line please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the race start time.
A friend can pick up your pack if necessary providing they bring a photocopy of the runners ID.
Pacers
There will be pacers for the Marathon and Half Marathon distances. Pacers will be at the following times for the Half Marathon and will be managed by Beast Pacing:

- 1:40
- 1:50
- 2:00
- 2:15
- 2:30
- 2:45
- 3:00
- 3:30
- 4:00
The Marathon will have pacers for every Boston Marathon Qualifying mark between 3 hours and 4:45. The plan will be to be 5 minutes under each BQ mark.
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be situated approximately every 1.5-2 miles around the course.
Cut-off Times
There will be a 6 hour course limit in place for the Marathon event. Runners in the Half Marathon should aim to complete the course in under 22:54/mile, as the course cut-off time is 5 hours.
Start Lines
The 5k starts and finishes in Mission Park, while the Half Marathon and Marathon distances start at different locations before finishing in Mission Park.
