This annual 5k run supports research into heart attacks in women under the age of 50. This ever-popular and inclusive event at Crown Point Park lets runners and walkers breeze through a paved route before being greeted at the finish line by an exciting race raffle. A great day out for all.

Route information
The course is a simple out-and-back along the bayside walkway in the east side of Crown Point Park where runners and walkers will travel across a paved surface. Runners will begin at the east side of Crown Point Park and work their way up along the bay walkway throughout the course.

Directions and Parking
Travel to high point drive by taking route 5 and then following signs towards Crown Point Park after turning onto Garnet Avenue. Parking details will be confirmed closer to the race date.
Event day logistics
Saturday:
07:30am- Early Packet Pickup and Registration opens
08:30am - Opening Ceremony begins
09:00am - 5k start time
Packet Pickup and Registration
Early Packet Pickup will be available, details are TBC. There is also packet pickup and event registration on the day of the race starting at 7:30am.
Opening Ceremony
There will be an opening ceremony for the event. Details will be provided closer to race day.
T-shirt
All registrants before April 8, 2022 will receive a free custom red race T-shirt.
Chip Timing
Chip timing trackers are in the race bibs of runners which can be collected at the Packet Pickup.
Awards Ceremony
The overall winner of the event will be awarded a prize. A medal will also be given to the 2nd and 3rd place male/female overall and to the top three participants in the following categories: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 and older.
Raceday Raffle
There will be a raffle after the race finishes where entrants can win a beautiful handmade quilt.
Online registration
Online registration closes at 9:00pm on April 20, 2022.
Age restrictions
Those aged 6 and older can take part in the event.
