The National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. cord injury (SCI), estimates that there are approximately 12,000 new cases each year of Spinal Chord Injuries. Like most people we were unaware of how serious SCI can effect your daily life, until someone we were friends sustained a SCI . Trevor Comeau was on vacation in Jamaica when he was involved in an serious accident causing a SCI injury. The goal of this 5k run is to help spread awareness of spinal chord injuries and assist those in need of medical expenses not covered by insurance. Join us to help spread awareness in our communities.

Where do the proceeds of this event go?
In order to continue Trevor's therapy at Strides SCI, REACT SCI Recovery and help pay for uninsured medical equipment, we are putting together this run for Trevor in order to help fundraise. The entry fees for the run will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses. With the help of HelpHopeLive all entry fees paid by runners will be tax deductible!
